best way forward, also you can try new creams etc that people recommend, sounds ex monthly but well worth it.  I started it just before christmas and now I am not frightened about asking for various things at the quacks.

i have just recently discovered that i have psoriasis, well ive always known but it has never bugged me before. used to have a tiny patch on my elbow. Now however its in my scalp and spreading.
i have no idea what to do about it, how to treat it, thus far i have just ignored it, now its spreading too much. Anyoone got any easy not too costly advise?

It really is in your best interests to buy one. You can not only get your topicals but also moisturisers, bath therapies and shampoos. On top of this, anything else you might need for non-P can be got with it.

This card may well save you a fortune. I pay for mine of DD over the whole year and don't even notice it going out of my account...and everything I need is covered.

It amazes me that most people know nothing about this card...so this is now a ticky topic and please pass the url on in threads and posts where people mention 'the costs of prescriptions'.

You say you get your moisturisers and shampoos on this card, I take it this means that you need your doc to prescribe these to you for this to work? As it stands I am paying far more so this would be great, and if I can get moisturisers too that will save me even more!

Yes this is the NHS in the UK. The card is something that can bought instead of paying scrip by scrip cost - much cheaper!

Extrememly handy not having to pay for prescriptions now i live in Scotland, especially as i used to get them in copious amounts.

I doubt free prescriptions will be available in England for sometime.

We seems to be subsidising the politicians inflated expense claims, the lazy sods who wont work,  tax credits for all and sundry. Not enough money for 'free prescriptions' for the tax payer!
