What we need are huge mutant mites that attack the p itself rather than shedded skin...bit like the turkish fish treatment but in bed..

... no but on a seroius note:

I usually itch more at night than during the day.
I have experienced this  also during the time where I was on night shift.
I was itching more at work and I had usually very little problems during the day.

I also itch more when it's hot than when it is cold  - so I might rather go with the temperature regulation theory ::)
