Day 72-82 ldn dose 4.5mg/4.5ml daily.

P is up and down and is all over the place at the mo.
Scalp and facial P back flaring and calming down...it's weird :o Had a few spots appear on/around eye/lids not good :-\
From my last derm visit, pasi score reduced down to 21...so scaling is a lot better although
coverage is roughly the same as when i started LDN...although i have noticed a few new P spots appear :(

Can't honestly say if 4.5 is making it worse/or not at the mo....still sticking with this dose though.

It seems to be working on end parts of body ie feet and hands...scaling virtually zero and marginal.

Again, need to be patient ahead of the forthcoming xmas indulgence !!!!

Hi Pieman - glad you're seeing an effect or sorts!  Hopefully it'll improve - the alchohol thing def doesn't help though unfortunately, but can't really be avoided at Xmas eh.  Just thought I'd update you on my post LDN skin stuff - still hardly have any more of it than when I came off LDN about 2 months ago although a few small bits appearing on my face (always the first place to come and go!) - but generally not really any worse and no massive rebound of any kind  :D

Good luck with it all and just keep going - takes a lot of patience, but hopefully it'll be worth it as it was for me...just want it to work for some other people now!!!

Take care
Jen

Hi Mincepieman - like Jeni - hope it means LDN is working gradually.  Repeated Paul's prescription at the end of last week and have stuck at 2ml.  Receptionist said moving up again would probably mean a consultation ('phone I guess) and we just wanted to get it sorted (what with Christmas post and break).  (Quite impressed with the delivery service though - it has arrived).

I think there has been an improvement for Paul - went to his works "do" and he wore a short sleeved shirt (it was freezing, but he felt he could, so he did!).  Elbows and hands look better - hardly any flaking, and smoother and not so "angry" looking).  Not sure about his legs - he doesn't like me to study them!

Paul is holding judgement (you know, been here before........, don't count your chickens (or even your turkeys!))

I'm still optimistic if we stick at it, there will be further improvement.  Even if his p remains at the current level, it's a lot better than I can remember it being at this time of year.

Hope you (and all other PHO'ers) have a good Christmas.

Deedee

hiya Jen

great that the dreaded p has not flared massively and rebounded since you stopped the ldn!
From personal experience i tend (maybe you do) to rebound really bad after stopping a treatment.

Deedee

great news that paul's p is feeling the benefit of reduced scaling and was able to pull a a short sleeve shirt :D :D
was it an hawaiian one.... :o
Can't say i blame paul for being sceptical...i'm the same with any treatment undertaken, as from all the years spent
battling this chronic condition, have had very little total clearance :(
Optimism and having a positive attitude can make a big difference too....so keep at it :)...not just paul...but you too.

merry xmas to all of you:

I've now been on 2ml per day for a week, still no improvement but should get up to 4ml in a few weeks and maybe things will start to kick in. Good luck everyone

Hi Gary,..... great news that it's working for you m8 :)

Brizee...keep us informed fella :)

Day 83-96 Ldn dose 4.5mg/4.5ml now at 3 month mark.

Been on 4.5mg over 3 weeks now, and still slow burning.
Been waking more on the upped dosage! normally between 4-5am...hellfire!
may revert to morning dosage to counteract this...
Skin not much change from last update...slower scale...no scale on some limited small patches, mainly hands and feet are better.
using dream cream and aqueous cream to moisturise...although being a bloke, don't do it as often as i should hehe ;)
will post some 3 month stage pics over the new year.

sorry, not posted for a while..been getting over the new year!!! ;)
work hard, party hard ::) ;)

gary great news fella 8)...interested in how the other ldner's doing out there? :)

Day 97 -107 Ldn dose 4.5mg/4.5ml

had consultation with doc @ glasgow and have agreed to push up to max 5mg/5ml dose
for the next month, i feel this is the last roll of the ldn dice for me...before enbrel.
Skin has shown limited small improvements, but needs to have a much larger impact for me
within the next few weeks to prove truely theraputic.

yesterday took first 5mg of ldn, and i was expecting an adverse reaction at this dose, so was pleased
when all went fine...let's hope it kicks in and gives my P a kick up the derriere....plllleeeeeeaaaseeee!!!

I've been meaning to post current p pics...will do so tommorrow to show what has changed since day one.

wishing you well
pie ;)
