Paul's appointment is tomorrow (27th), and if prescribed, I guess supply won't arrive for a week or so (Royal Mail????).

day 27-32 ldn dose 2mg/2ml

scalp and ear p is starting to creep back a little....also facial p is having a bit of a hot flare at mo >:(
don't know why...could be my diet(or lack of  :D )? the cold weather? ldn? stress? ??? not sure anyway will be pushing up
to 3mg/3ml this coming monday. :)
must say that the scaling is reducing and a few p patches going pinker and less inflamed..

ash...be patient my friend ;)..it's gonna take time to get potential results..hopefully the sooner the better for all us ldn peeps. 8)
pie ;)

After all this new information Ive booked myself an appointment at glasgow. Im allways sceptical about p treatments (arent we all) but i think a 15 hour round trip, a night in a hotel, and an all in cost of about £300.00 should cheer me up. Never mind, who dares wins.
On a lighter note its still cheaper than two private consultations and some old duffer trying to push mtx on me when ive had reactions to it the three previous occassions ive tried it.

Im taking some photos now and Ill keep posting when I start. appt on the 10th.

For some reason, I hadn't read this thread before - probably because I don't tend to read about treatments I've never used.

OMG Pieman, I had no absolutely no idea your p was so bad.  How you keep your sanity and sense of humour going I just don't know.  My p wasn't anywhere near as bad as yours and I was a miserable cow for months until the PUVA sorted me out  ;D ;D

You're an absolute inspiration to other sufferers and if I ever get another flare, I'll look back at this thread when I'm feeling sorry for myself and consider it a kick up the bottom  ;D ;D

Paul has started on 1mg dosage - tells me it tastes just like medicine - No!!

Clinic was a surprise - had imagined big stone building and a little "apothecary" shop nearby (overactive imagination, obviously!)

Dr says will look to increase dosage after a month and to be patient - no overnight cure here.  Expected that and happy with it.

Pieman - hope the increased dosage puts paid to the "creeping back" and the flare.
