I'm not discrediting ldn, but i feel it was me who was so sure this was going to be 'my cure' that it may have watered the results.

Hi David :)

i think we all wish and hope that any treatment path we embark upon is indeed the one!
Similar to you, after trialing ldn..came to the same conclusion and dissapointment...but soldier on.
I know that deedee's hubby Paul is still taking LDN in higher doses and is providing relief.
Just goes to show...it's trial and error m8...take care!
pie ;)

Youre spot on Pieman, its all about trial and error!  Not sure what I'll try next, getting married in july and off to Florida for the first time, so will need to get myself in order with regard to p!  Legs and arms are my problem areas but i must say if i put my mind to it, i can get things under control if i time it well!

Best of luck mate

David

I've been meaning to post on here for weeks!  Been sidetracked by 16 year old daughter's "stuff" (school holidays, party, boyfriend, GCSE revision (not)).  Anyway, all (relatively) calm now on that front.

Paul is still taking ldn - he has a few spots of p (mostly on what were the edges of much larger patches) - but sooo much better than pre-ldn. Maybe it is the ldn, maybe it's belief in the ldn, maybe it's using omega 3 and vitamin D3 along with it, maybe he was just due some clearance!  Whatever, we're looking forward to the beach this year!

Hope the wedding and honeymoon preparations are well under way, David!

Thats great news, at the end of the day if Pauls p is getting better then its a worthwhile treatment.  I've just managed to get a uvb narrowband lamp which is really working wonders..after only 2 weeks  :).  Wedding is only 8 weeks away....I tell ya....companys must rub their hands when they hear your getting married!! £500 for flowers!! What's that about!!   Rant over!!  ;D

Yikes, I doubt we spent £500 on our whole wedding!  (It was nearly 36 years ago mind you!!).

Glad the lamp is helping - Paul has a dermalight 80 which is a hand held lamp - it did help, but was so time consuming.  I think you just have to try out whatever treatments you can!  That's the fantastic thing about this site, making people aware of what treatments are available, conventional and otherwise.  Before coming on here, we didn't even know about the benefits of moisturising!!
