Medication and travel
« on: October 04, 2011, 05:40:19 PM »
Hi guys,

Due to my severe eczema I've never travelled :(

I'm wondering how anyone does it with the limits on the amount of liquids you can take on a flight. The guidelines I can see suggest that you can take as much as you need for the flight in a holdall. However, I can't allow for the possibility of being separated from main luggage which does happen so would need to double up on meds and take everything I need for the whole holiday in my personal luggage eg, Bath oils, creams, moisturizers, ointments, water sprays, shampoos etc

How do you guys approach this?

cheers

hi i have never had any restrictions on liquid meds when i fly, you do need a letter from your GP & a prisciption so as long as you get it all from your GP you should be ok

this site explains it all.

You are not limited on the amount of creams you can take on the plane you just have to declare it at security
