PASI score.
« on: December 12, 2009, 11:25:50 AM »
I received a letter today from my Derm. It was a copy of a communication sent to my GP requesting closer monitoring of my blood tests.

They graded my P as having a PASI of 10.2 and a very high DLQI index.

Then MTX at 17.5mg for 6 weeks unitl further review.

I don't think 10.2 is high or maybe it is? But the majority of that score is based on my legs and arms. The trunk area of my body is mainly free of large plaques.
Not many posts to my name. But each reply is worth 20yrs of P experience.

Hello,

anything above 20 is classed as severe. There are not many people who score over 30.

I had a PASI 5 weeks ago and it was at 23 whilst on humira. A week later skin was even worse but no PASI was done. Since then all treatment has been stopped and funding for infliximab has been refused.

My derm nurse is back again a week on Monday so I am likely to have anothe one done and who knows what it will be.

My DLQI is high but it is easy to make that high depending on the fame of mind I am in.

It is clearing on a small area on my right arm. But it is still red and angry everywhere else.

I,m having blood tests every week for the next 5 wks until I go back.

10.2 is not brilliant but I don't have it on my trunk like everywhere else.
