Would like replies for those who have taken both of these meds.
Please post which of these  two had the most effective results on your p.

NOT COUNTING SIDE EFFECTS. ::)

sorry I have only taken mtx and although it cleared the p the effects didnt last long

I have had both  ( typical junkie me )

out of the two ... the mtx worked the best , but the side effects for me we alot worse than aceterin
mtx made me sick for a few days, and washed out , but was good on P and joints

Aceterin just seems to dry you out .. lips nose and eyes, and makes you tired , and just keep p in stable state ...

but like everything we all react differently to each treatment :s  but i would go for the mtx

MTX .. on 25mg ..bloods rock solid .. absolutely no side effects.

Well just one ... Psoriasis was still there!!!

Hi done them both the MTX was better than Acitretin at trying to clear the P  as Saucy posted acitretin just seemed to dry the skin out

I am on MTX...doing nothing at the moment. Been on it 6 weeks now.... Only on 10 mg.
