My Methotrexate update!!!

Hey guys,
Havn't been around for a while guess I've just been busy!
Well so far things are starting to look good for me I have been on Methotrexate fopr 4 weeks now and in the last few days have noticed that my hands and feet are staring to look a bit better.  Things go from good to bad and even worse with Pustular P and anyone with it knows what I mean.  A few weeks ago it looked great only a few little patches left yay! but the next day it was BAD.  The only side affects I have from the tablets is a little Nausea but I also get very tired. Having my first blood test this friday so hope everything goes ok there.  Going back to my derm on 2nd October so wish me luck! His going to check progress so lets see what happens.

good 2 hear things are well at the mo ,
a friend of mine had the meth treatment and also suffered with the tiredness n sickness but had gr8 results from the treatment, so fingers crossed yeh .

So pleased that things are looking better for you.  And yeh I know what you mean about pustular p.  Mine however has been fairly well behaved over the last few months but you are quite right when things change it can be dramatic .  Hope that derm appt goes well.  Keep us up to date.

Hi Aus - long time no see! Welcome back

It's not the first time I hear about the P going a bit up and down in the beginning of a MTX treatment - no nice eh? :-/  But at least it seems you're on the right track

Keep going - given a bit more time, it may just do the trick

I hope very much that your body "settles" to the treatment and the baddies (side effects ) subside soon

Keeping fingers, toes, and everything else crossed for your next derm visit!

Good to hear.

The only real symptom (as I think I said) I suffer from is tiredness the day after I take it. I always take it just before I go to bed, so I sleep through the initial symptoms!

Hope all goes well with your bloods (and I am sure you'll be fine!)
