Hi Jer - and welcome to the forum

It seems that nail P is one of the hardest forms to get rid of :-/
The main thing, I think the consensus was, is to keep the short, and well filed so that there are no ragged edges that "open" up the nail to further fungal infection or P spread. Wearing rubber gloves when you're handling chemicals (even washing up - detergent is a chemical after all), also seems to have helped a few people....
I don't have really bad nail P (people who don't know P would never know it) - on my hands, they're just very ridgey (is that a word at all? :O

) and quite pitted; I keep that down with a french manicure now and then (don't polish till it's all gone though, there'd be nothing left of the nail

); My toenails are less happy, and I'm having a go at them now with a tea tree cream - I'll let youse know if it works
