When i had PUVA treatment they did not give me the tablets but i had Psoralen put into a bath before the treatment. It was very relaxing with no side effects at all.

Maybe you could see if you could have the PUVA bath treatment instead.

We dont have the facilities for puva baths on the island, even tho we have just moved to a new hospital they spent millions on.The derm out-patients is on the surgical ward and treatment room consists of one puva unit we,ve had since 1995 one bed for a small uva unit and a filing cabinet.....oh yea and a sink. This room is on the rehabilitation ward.Hopefully changes will be made soon ,I believe they are going to relocate us back at the old hospital until then we have to make do >:(They might even give us a bathroom . Thanks for your suggestions anyway I can at least be informed and nag every time I go to see the derm x
