OTC Genital Psoriasis Treatments
« on: December 05, 2011, 04:45:45 PM »
Hi,

I've recently had a flare up of genital p and i was wondering if anyone could suggest any over the counter creams that might help alleviate the problem? I am really too shy to ask my family GP about prescription treatments. I know you have to be careful in that area and ask a doctor but i just can never bring myself to do it.

I've been using vaseline on the area and found it helps stop the itching but its not done anything to lessen the outbreak.

I have asked my GP about referring me to a dermatologist for my scalp p anyway but he seemed reluctant to do so and just prescribed me alternative meds for it.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum btw! I wasn't sure where to post exactly.

Thanks

Trimovate Cream is alway the best for me but you need a prescription for that. Hope that helps! Good Luck!
