Have just posted my experience of using Neoral on the medications 'survey' in case anyone, who is currently using cyclosporin or considering its use in future, is interested. It didn't work for me so I've moved over to the alternative option and am following bjm's advice. I'll try anything in my efforts to redress the unfortunate effects which cyclsoporin presented for me. Hopefully others will continue to make progress using it.

Hey great link..I have just switched from Meth to Neotigason. Not sure re the risk of my hair falling out though..a little scary.
I read so many stories on here where people's P creates so much pain. I must say up untill now and after trying most things since i was a kid, in terms of easing the pain i must recommend CETRABEN emolient. Wont clear P but has been the only topical that eases itching and pain. Can get on script (cheaper than over the counter). Is brilliant and great under makeup too!  :)

Anyone with experience of Neotigason (Acitretin) ? Been on for two days after Methotraxate and terrified my lips will blister and hair will fall out. Plus, data sheet advises Treatment shd not extend beyond 6 months though Dermatologist says otherwise...has anyone been adivised similarly???

Thanks for the info, yes its good to see people reviewing and sharing their experiences. I have posted my own success story battling P (over 16 years now) and if anyone cares to read it and see the pictures of almost daily progress, it can be found here -> You are not allowed to view links. I wanted to post about Infliximab infusions . Ive had two now and after the second one ( on 6th sept) and since then I have been suffering with extreme nausia and dramatic weight loss ( lost over a stone in just over a week!) . I spoke to my Rhumey who has sent me for blood tests to see if it's my liver or pancreas being affected , she said it is rare to get these side affects , but unfortunate if you happen to be one of the unlucky ones. Good results on my skin and joints though, so at least I have some positives. i'm now tring to eat more and fingers crossed i'm feeling a lot better.

There is a skin care product that appears to treat the symptoms of psoriasis, expecially any minor pain, itch or rash. Go to the web site You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and look at the testimonials. There are free samples available by paying $1 for shipping and handling. It may be worth your time to check it out.
