Holland and Barrett are asking all there customers to right to there member of Parliment to protest about this.

I think this is another way of limiting peoples choices for there own personal health care,

I do agree that you need to be careful what remedies you take but as long as you are careful i think it is all about freedom of choice

Blimey.
Especially thinking of the fact that  something having been around for a long time doesn't necessarily mean it's safe or good....

I agree with Hopez - there has to be control; there have been too many instances (especially with chinese herbals) of manufacturers bunging any old ingredient into pills and potions, just to make it work (like huge amounts of steroids :O ). But banning the lot?! Personally, I think it may make the situation even more dangerous, as people will inevitably try to "make up their own" - which means no control whatsoever.

I signed the petition in Holland and Barrett on Saturday.

Okay, okay, you guys probably all signed up months ago, but I'm out in the sticks and don't manage to get to shops much  :o :o

Anyway, thought I'd just keep you posted  ;)
