STELARA ustekinumab & MTX 10mg Combo started 13/10/09

Hi Folks

well the time has come to move to stelara
will be having a 90mg shot at week 0 then at week 4 90mg
and then 90mg every 12 weeks
i will get photos done to see for myself and PHO's how the drug is working
will not post them until about week 8 so we can see what change has been made

looking at week 4 for some improvement and week 12 75% clear we will have to see

have just got back first shot done 90mg
had photos done hope they got my good side 
next shot 10th November

hope to see some sort of improvement soon

after 5 hr's of injection getting hot flushed in the face

just to add i have had a bit of a rest face looks a bit sun burnt  at 8hr's
have noticed next day 27hrs later still light sensitive
think will need to wear sun glasses if i go out as notice eyes feel like they have eye strain due to light

face is still red from going out so back to london 15th oct will let then no
having 10mg MTX
had jab today eyes still sensitive sun on. feel i bit washed out

the flushing may be your age, or on the male menopause ? 
joking aside JB, hope you have minimal adverse effects and all the best old boy!
