STELARA ustekinumab & MTX 10mg Combo started 13/10/09

was going to post yesterday
but left it one more day the skin is not so active
i have stopped using any creams or ointments to see how good its going to work
skin has been dry and did hurt a lot was so tempted to put cream on but held off
so hopping that the next week will get better results still having 10mg MTX by injection

90% of the white scale has stopped had a massive flake Sunday and Monday
does not look angry at all now so that is in 1 week
lets hope week 2 will be better

Hope you continue to have remission and no serious side effects.

Did you have any trouble getting funding, I hear it's expensive.

8 days on and scale is minimal more movement no pain when lying in bed and no bleeding

side effects where short lived but will no more over a longer period of time

funding was OK as this is number 4 biological

had to go to next step

well the time has come to move to stelara
will be having a 90mg shot at week 0 then at week 4 90mg
and then 90mg every 12 weeks
i will get photos done to see for myself and PHO's how the drug is working
will not post them until about week 8 so we can see what change has been made

looking at week 4 for some improvement and week 12 75% clear we will have to see

still not using any creams going cold turkey to see how good the results will be at week 4

did seen someone else at the hospital today on stelara had second jab but not working as well
hope it will help them soon told them about the site so new member coming soon and this person knows SJ
