Read this thread this morning and then got the special offers list from my oil supplier - tumeric is this month! Don't know much about the oil so looked it up

Okay, so don't use it by the gallon! Great for arthritits, muscular aches and pains and rheumatism. Also good for sluggish digestion, anorexia and liver congestion.
Not a mention for skin. However, in Chinese herbalism it is used for bruises, sores, ringworm and was also a cure for jaundice. It is high in mineral and vitamin C content.
Going back to the oil, it has anti-arthritic actions, anti oxidant, bactericidal and is a laxative.
I may get a bottle to use for arthritic clients, or those with a particularly sluggish digestive system. I'll keep you posted re the effects on skin
