UVB-brown marks where P was
« on: October 06, 2003, 05:06:28 PM »
Hi everyone,

I've just finished a course of UVB therapy which has cleared all my P but left brown marks where the lesions were. How long does it take for these marks to fade completely?

cheers

David

Mine only took days, but then again I was so glad I wasn't bright red that the pale browny marks didn't bother me.

The brown marks will progressively get lighter and disappear after about 6 months; that's my experience.

Hey David.

I also have that problem, my derm recommended a cream Superfade (Hyrdroquinone 2%) to help the process along.
