I drink loads of water but can't say I notice a difference with my P.  It's also a good source of calcium which I'm embarrassed to admit, I didn't know until yesterday!!

I didn't know that either!!  :-[

I drink about 2-3 litres a day and have noticed a real improvement in my skin - not really an improvement in p - but skin feels softer

Water has also improved my general well-being.  It rocks  :)

I would imagine that with the hyper proliferation of new skin cells that accompanies P, dehydration would be a concern for moderate to severe sufferers.
In P sufferers, the formation of a large number of new skin cells would mean that P sufferers probably require more fluid than the average Joe.

It has been postulated that chlorinated drinking water can kill off the friendly bacteria that lives in the gut which can cause digestive problems.
For that reason it would be advisable, if possible, to drink unchlorinated water.

I have a rainwater tank but at the moment we are suffering from a drought in my area so I've had to resort to using the town water, which is heavily chlorinated.
I now double filter the town water to remove the chlorine, which unfortunately probably removes the beneficial minerals as well - a real catch22 situation.
