An Ode to my P
« on: May 23, 2004, 11:32:56 PM »
I am a prisoner of myself,

Things i want to do, are left on the shelf,

Things in life i must miss,

Parts the sun cannot kiss.

It is a curse, some people say

But there's a new me -

With the dawn of each day

Of this affliction,

I may never be free

But everywhere i go,

I leave a part of me!!            ((:y

That is really good - I hope you don't mind but I printed it of so I can put it on my noticeboard.
When life gets you down, have a rest, then come back fighting.

Cant go out
Cant do normal things
just cant

wtf

wont let it beat me
wont let it stop me going out
wont let it stop me doing normal things
wont put my fingers in the light socket again...cos its not the cure..
the only people without regrets, are the ones who havent been born yet............whhhoooOOOoooo ive just fwightened myself ((:c

In answer to this, I obviously HAVEN'T let it beat me or i'd be a number in a graveyard!!!

My poem is NOT a generalisation, it's about ME and MY p.

Oh and as well as being born wi the duff gene i was born with intelligence and have not, as yet, put my finger in a light socket, but no doubt when i do, that will be for that reason i become a number in the graveyard!!!!!

Almost forgot, i write these replies in my uniform of cling-film stockinette and cotton gloves as these are the "parts the sun cannot kiss"
I aint wallowing in self-pity, its self-preservation!
