then may be attitudes to p and the emotional distress that it causes its many suffer's would change for the better and much needed funds would be put in to research to find a permant cure.

I hardly think discouraging people to have tatts or peircings will divert funds in to research on p.

Yes, tatts and peircings have become increasingly popular over recent years but I would prefer to think that this indicates are more tolerant society rather than a pure fashion craze.

I have three tattoos and 2 peircings all of which I adore, they mean incredibly special things to me and mark stages of my life.  Whilst they are discrete and can be covered when I want I love to have them on show when appropriate.

I am lucky enough, in this case, that my p is on my hands therefore my tattoos aren't really affected.

When the p gets me down and I see myself with this ugliness that never goes away then I try to balance my view with the things about my appearance that I like and high on that list are my tattoos and my body jewelrey.

A tolerant attitude can reduce stress.

ok here we have a clear example of why not to use the computer after several pints of stella.

The reason i posted this thread originaly was not to upset people with the odd tatto of earring but more to do with my brother in law who is coverd in head to toe in demonic tattos and for his pains is curently suffering from hep c and by his own admission "regreats every last one". Add to that the fact that im am just plain sqimish about needels.

And maybe being coverd from head to toe in p for as long as i can remember has affected my judgment who knows?

In short maybe i should do more thinking and less drinking befor posting such riskey topics.

sorry for any offence caused

Nick

YOU MUST KEEP DRINKING!!!!!  The alchohol thread needs your input.

As has been said, everyone is entitled to an opinion and freedom of speech is everyone's right.

I hope none of the responses offended yourself but you should be proud of starting such a great thread.

In fact, we all know quite a bit more about each other now too!

All we need is a league table of adornments to include brief description and geographical location!!!!
