Hi Paul

I too knew a bit about reduced sun time. But for me it isn't too much of a problem as the P is thin and pretty mild (for me). I also have FP type 3 skin and don't burn easily.

I think if my skin was as bad as it can get right now, I probably would head to the other side. I am not to bothered about how bad I am at the moment and probably wouldn't mind being on my own (I think...cripes I am scared now!).

I dunno. Haven't decided yet  :-/

But I would like to see Petra!

Hi SJ, after my last trip to Israel I travelled by bus to Eilat and crossed by foot into Jordan. I loved it - Petra is amazing (be prepared to do some climbing to see the best views) and Wadi Rum too (amazing desertscapes where many westerns were filmed). Also, snorkelling in the Red Sea at Aqaba (Al-Cazar is a good budget hotel with pub & pool). I moved around by public minibus. Hard to find a drink tho and finding English speakers outside hotels and Petra can also be a problem (at one restaurant, I was taken into the kitchen to point to what I wanted cooking!). People are friendlier tho. I didn't go to the Dead Sea part but if you want any info on any of the above let me know.
