Dead Sea Trip to Jordan - Spring 2010
« on: December 07, 2009, 01:24:51 PM »
Hello everyone :)

Okay, we now have the prices, details etc for the April/May/June 2010 trips to the Dead Sea in Jordan. Please email me at You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login if you are interested. I will then email the info to you because as with previous years, we are not allowed to advertise them on the forum.

Firstly, for all those that have never been before, have a read here>>

This article will give you a good insight as to what a trip is all about and should answer a lot of your questions.

Secondly to all those that have been before, and those that have received the info from previous trips - READ THE INFO CAREFULLY AS THERE ARE CHANGES TO THE PRICING STRUCTURE The good news is Gareth has managed to get the same great rates again which added to sterlings gradual recovery means it is a lot cheaper than the spring 2009 trips. More good news - the low season periods have been changed to our benefit which will enable more people than ever to take advantage of the cheaper rates

So everybody can read them - please post your questions here for me to answer. However, I cannot answer questions here regarding cost, this will have to be done via email.

Once I start getting confirmed bookings, these will be placed on this thread so others can see and allows first timers to tie in with others.

As with previous years we will nominate a group date which will provisionaly be the 16th of May and is the first day the cheaper rates kick in. This date is not set in stone but once I have confirmation I will update you all.

Cheers
Paul

** Saturday May 15th confirmed as the group date**

Thanks Paul.

I might go out there in June, get some sun and watch the World Cup at the same time!

Update:

I spoke to Gareth last night and his advice is not to leave booking too late as demand is likely to be high.

Royal Jordanian at this time are approx £140 cheaper than BMI at £430.

And I have the first confirmed booking :)

Sejal Patel: 3 weeks. She depts 15th May returns 6th June flying Royal Jordanian.

I will update this list as and when I have confirmed bookings.

I came all the way from the South Pacific and currently employed with the UN in IRAQ. I am intending to visit Jordan in March as I am entitled to only two weeks vacation.

Please advise me.

Thanks

It sounds good and if it was now I would go.

But I dont know how my skin is going to far from now to May. I could  be clear by April.

Also cost is another concern with Jordan. I looked into this last year and two weeks was going to be well over £1200.

Not many posts to my name. But each reply is worth 20yrs of P experience.

Hi everyone  :D

I hope you are all well,

Just to give you an update on the who is going when list for this spring's trip to Jordan.

Gareth (DSG): 3 weeks 1day. 14th May to 5th June flying BMI
Dee:3 weeks 1 day. 14th May to 5th June flying BMI
Sejal Patel: 3 weeks. 15th May to 6th June flying Royal Jordanian.
Sarah Joiner: 3 weeks. 15th May to 6th June flying Royal Jordanian

We are  now planning to have two group dates these are as before
Saturday 15th May
& now also
Friday 14th May

This is becasue BMI currently have a sale on and the flights are particuarly cheap on the 14th at present. :D
You can ofcourse come out to Jordan at anytime however if you want to team up on these dates the transfers will be cheaper plus you get some company for your stay!

Lastly & I know I say this every year (but every year I seem to have last minute frantic calls to the hotel to fit everyone in) ::), please please please do not leave it late to book up, the hotel when I spoke with them this week, already have high occupancy agreed for May and rooms are on a first come first served basis.

As always if you have any further queries, please just give me a shout

Bring on the sun, Jordan here we come  ;D 8)
