I went to gp the other day and a referral was made, checked to see how long it would take to be seen, have been told 30 weeks, been using dovobet for 8 weeks and dovonex for months, feel so unhappy that I have to wait so long, Feel like crying :-(

Yes, Wrexham north Wales, gp wrote that I was routine priority,

All NHS patients have the 'right' to begin treatment within 18 weeks of referral. If this target is not met the PCT must investigate and offer an alternative - even if this means being seen privately at the expense of the NHS. You may find this helpful

Beware the Dovobet and the rebound flare

No dovobet not helped at all, used it last year and p came back straight away, now most of my legs are covered, asked gp about tablets they can only be given by hospital, so don't want to stop using dovobet cos p will prob get worse,

My understanding is that Dovobet should be used for a maximum of 4 weeks unless you GP specifically directs otherwise. Read the instructions that come with it and look at this link:
