early signs ??
« on: June 19, 2004, 06:51:58 PM »
Hellllo everyone,
Can anyone tell me if they can remember how p started to show early signs of developing?
As most of you know, I suffer from ppp, which is mainly on my feet, so I don't really know very much about p.
Over the last 7-10 days I have noticed about 10 small (10mm) reddish blotches on my body. They are only on the trunk of my body and a couple on my neck. They don't itch or hurt.
It may just be a rash (hopefully), but I'm really scared incase its the beginning of p.
Any info would be a big help.
Thanks, Lianne x

Hi Lianne,

I have had a rash on my body that looked similar to the ppp on my feet and hands...saw emergency derm who said thought they looked like bits or allergy..I am still getting them on and off months later but they did develop into anything.

Keep an eye on them esp as you get ppp, very rare to get it anywhere but hands and feet but just a note of caution as can be dangerous if widespread...sure it isnt, if worried call gp or derm...did you get that letter yet?

Mine started after I got chickenpox aged about 11. " of the blisters neners healed and turned anto psoriasis. Then gradually over the years it just started to spread and spread.
Try and get it checked out to put your mind at rest.
Sorry about the cat, it just won't stop

Can't remember when it first ever started - too young :-/ but after a period of being clear, it starts to appear with one red spot, and then another red spot appears, and another until they start grouping together.
When life gets you down, have a rest, then come back fighting.
