Eumovate dangers?

my doctor gave me this cream and i avoided using it until today and while i was careful applying it around my eyes with cotton buds, i am concerned to learn that if this cream enters your eyes it can cause glaucoma.

Is this one of those "may" that means long term use or can glaucoma be caused by a small amount entering the eye?
