« on: April 07, 2006, 03:31:35 PM »
I have been having light treatemnt for my p . I was wondering how long does it take for you to see a difference
Im getting really worried about the summer.
I really dont think ill be able to wear any summer clothes as i will be to embrassed.
i feel really really down and whenever i see my body i feel disgusted.
i dont know how to cope with it i feel like just staying at home and not leaving the house.
i cry almost everyday i just want it to go away

Hi Nicky,  usually you start to see a difference after the third week,  thats 9 sessions.

Try not to get to downhearted,  UVB  is effective for most people I believe.    Good luck with it.  xx

Hey, lots of sympathy!!!! (((()))) Is the light treatment you are talking about UVB? I had that, and it took about a month and a half for me to clear completely. Everyone has different results though! Hang in there, stressing won't help with the recovery :) Think lovely happy thoughts of being clear and parading around in shorts, thats what I do  ;D

it depends, they usually go till most has gone, alot of it i think depends where it is.
one of the hardest places to clear is lower legs, arms are best i always found

It's funny, I found it the other way around, the tops of my arms were the last thing to go, while the lower legs were the first!! Maybe I'm just weird.

Yes, Nicky,  most people can get completely clear with it.  Apart, of course, if you have it on the bits UVB can't reach ::)

How many sessions have you had so far?
