Hi Nicky.

First off, genital area will be helped by UVB (if UVB does it for you) but you do need to help it along. Flexural P tends to incorporate a fungal element to the P and the UVB can't help that, so using something like Trimovate/Daktacort/Fucibet/Caneston with HC will help it a lot lot lot. Just remember not to put anything on for a good 3 hours before you go in the light booth!

Try not to obsess too much about 'when is this going to work'. For the vast majority of people, UVB is a wonderful clearence tool...for you too. But as everyone says, it takes a good 8-10 sessions before it really, really kicks in. Worrying won't help and just makes you feel more down...I know many people here have found that!

So take a deep breath and keep the sessions up and try not to think about 'when is this going to work??????' and kick back and keep thinking 'this is going to work' and let your stress levels relax.

With a bit of 'work', you will be clear for the summer...and you can enjoy the freedom of P-free living for a bit  ;)
