in previous posts i told u my doctor thought i may have puscular p..
i saw the dermo consultant this afternoon, what a lovely lovely man he was, well he took one look and within 2 seconds he said ' thats not p' oh i thought, so he asked if the trainee could have a look before he told me what it was, i agreed, so after the trainee had a look i was told i had 'lichen planus'.. as we were talking i said i had this patch of p on my foot for maybe 40yrs, he told me that wasnt p either, again it was lichen plantus..and there is no cure for that either.
so now i will have to get more info on it, i was given booklets and printouts about it, but the more i know the better
i am being sent for light treatment for it and have been told if that doesnt help clear it i will be put on tablets, but he also said the tablets can have side effects so we will try light treatment first
so i have to keep doing what im doing with the creams and lotions i have until i get light treatments, hopefully it clears up, it already a lot better than it was.
