Guttate or Plaque?
« on: January 07, 2012, 04:21:01 PM »
Sorry, me again. I have another question.

Is it possible to have both guttate and plaque psoriasis? I've always thought I had plaque P, but I've had doctors tell me I have guttate too. I have lots of random red spots, but I also have the "silvery scales" and scalp P. I've pretty confused.

Cheers!

Hi Rinbag,

Yes it is possible to have both types, and at the same time.

With P, just about anything is "possible".

Regards,

Daryl

Hey.  I know in my case I had a real rapid blowup.  For me it started out as guttate and then in places, it turned to plaque and for a lot of other places, turned erythrodermic.  To the tune of about 70 - 80 percent coverage.  Of that, probably about 40 percent or so plaque and the rest erythro.  No fun.  No fun at all.  Skin coming off by the handful every day.

But I am much better now.  Thank goodness.
