hairdresser in Norwich
« on: December 31, 2011, 01:26:14 PM »
Hi,  I'm new to the forum and just wanted to ask if anyone knows of a good hairdresser in Norwich.  My scalp psoriasis has got particularly bad over the last six months and I dont have a regular hairdresser I would feel comfortable going to.  If anyone has had any good experiences with particular hairdressers in the area, or has any advice, it would be welcome :-)
thanks

Hi Nhop 79 and welcome to the mad bad world of PHO  :D.
Sadly i don't live in Norwich but i found that if you ring a hairdresser's before you go and explain about your P you can pretty much gage whether they will have a problem with it. If thats the case you just keep trying till  you find one that is okay.
It took me ages to find a hairdresser that was okay with dealing with a person who had scalp P and i have stuck with the ever since. My hairdresser has a brother with P so fully understands. You may be surprised that most people know about it., and wont treat you like a leper.
Dont give up hope if you get a negative answer its their loss. Just keep trying.
Good Luck and keep us posted.

Md

My husband has had P for over 20 years and has used all sorts of treatments.  I do not know of a hairdresser in Norwich, however, my husband has been using 'patches Link removed by moderator.  The 'patch' is the y-age glutathione, and this is clearing up his P more than anything a doctor has ever prescribed.

I'm from Ipswich and I'd like to find a nice hairdresser too as my scalp P is pretty bad. Sorry I can't be of more help! I hope you find one you feel comfortable with soon!
