I had a terrible throat for about a week, one of those that you expect to have peaked and will be better the next day. The 'next day' never came and after suffering for a week (by this time I could not even swallow my saliva) my mum called a doctor out and and with in 10 minutes I was in hospital. I should point out that I had been working away from home at the time otherwise I would have done something sooner.
I had already noticed a few dots appearing but did not give them a second thought at the time.
The hospital said I had Quinsys (sp)? and kept me in hospital for 3 days and by the 2nd day I was covered by these 'red dots'

I asked the nurse what they might be and she just said 'oh, thats only psoriasis, see your GP when you get out'. I honestly expected to be given a packet of pills and the rash would be gone in a day or two

Sorry, that was a very long winded way of saying my p actually flared while I was in the middle of my throat problem and that was 30 years ago now
