Just want to share my good news (for a change) with you all.
I was discharged from hospital on Tuesday, after having my the 1st infusion of Infliximab on Monday and the effects can be seen & felt already-i'm so pleased.
After having to have 1 hour soaks in the bath and exfoliate on a grand scale i've been so excited with the experience of having showers every day !!!! Such a small thing that most people take for granted has me with a huge
on my face
I've had Infliximab before with MTX but only had a course of 3 and unfortunately it didn't last long so this time i'm in for a course of at least 5, without mtx this time due to hairloss.
For the first time in a long time i can class myself as having "a bit of dry skin"
which only needs a light covering with Hydromol (loving that oint
)
My fingers are well and truly crossed that this is the beginning of the end for my "flaky friend". I'll keep you posted
