« on: June 18, 2009, 02:12:49 PM »
Since the days are getting hotter am my P is getting worse I was thinking about trying this at the hospital. But I wanted to ask you guys about whether it has worked for you, and whether there are ny side effects are should be concerned about.

Plus my face is now all red and itchy!!! :( I look like a tomatoe!
An old newbie that pops back to the forum when I'm at my lowest a fantastic forum XD

hi, Habbo

? i take it you mean nb/uvb light treatment

we are all different peps, and can react diff to the treatments
rare but for some peps sun or light treatment excaberbates there p
there's loads of info on here on light treatments

they say any light treatment, puts you at a slightly higher risk  of a skin cancer for 5yrs
should not be given if pregnant

even uva worked for me in the early yrs, ive had all my hospital light treatments (joules)
allowed, i haved used light treatment at home but now become tolrant to sun/nb-uvb etc

hope light treatment helps you

uv works for me eventually - but i have to go through the heat rash/prickly heat phase first - it gives the impression of exacerbating the p for a week or so  ;)
как я рад что на зубах нет кожи :-)

UV usually works for me. It is much better if you following the advice on moisturising though. I used to put up with the red/itchy/dry/sore side effects but now I always get well lathered with moisturiser as soon as possible after treatment.
My time, is yours.
