Longest remission after UVB

Hi there.   I am having UVB at the moment and I wondered if anyone out there has been clear from P for a good while after they completed treatment.   I had UVB when I was about 9 and it cleared for 4 years.   I am hoping that the same happens again although I know that it probably won't.   :(

1st time I was clearish for a few months another time i was clearish for about a year but was still using dovonex but last time I reacted to UVB and p was back b4 I finshed.

Good luck Im just difficult!

only had uvb once a 4 week stint in hospital - it was back after 3 weeks but everyones different, hope you stay clear longer

 Finished my last course 3 months ago. Had a few small patches return on my elbows but thats it so far.

i finished about 6 weeks ago i got a few spots coming back now  :( thinking about having a few sunbeds now

I'm coming to the end of my UVB treatment and the p is starting to come back on my tummy, always the worst part for some strange reason, and usually really bad on my left side.

I have had to have quite a feww breaks during the treament for various things and I don't think that has helped much but the hospital seems to want to persevere, so I'll see what it's like when they say enough.

I hope you stay clear for the longest time. You never know, this might be just the thing.

FOUR YEARS!  Wow! I was about two months totally clear the first time and four weeks the second.  I hope you haev as big a success with it his time! ;)

Ive signed a form at the hospital to say that im entitled up to 3 years treatment & if i need more after that i have to see the dermi again. Anyone one get same as me at their hospital?

Three years of Nhs UVB
the nurse gave me a form to sign so im entitled to three years off UVB but off course not comstantly, its just she said that if it clears up  for me that the p will/might come back & that i can go for more UVB, up to 3 years.
