My skin is hot but I am so cold all of the time, I just can't get warm. Does anyone else have this and is it P related?

I always feel the cold more than others around me. And my psoriasis is always burning - so you're not alone!  O0

I have the same problem everytime it flares up...in addition, my skin will ooze from like practically everywhere even without scratching. Its so ridiculous that the oozing happens even when i sit down! seems the pressure of my butt on the skin causes it to ooze..anyone knows whats wrong with me and what i should do? deeply troubled by it...

Oh I can relate to this!

My wife and I have a constant battle with the "room stat".  I turn it up and then she turns it down. It is a bit like the Hokey Kokey!

She says that it is because I spent too many years working in hot climates, which is true, but I think that my P also plays a big part.

Daryl

I was the same when my p was at it's worst.  My colleagues used to think it was unhealthy when I had 2 heaters on it my office, yet I was always cold.

I can only imagine that because our skin is broken and possibly infected at times, our body temp is trying to compensate somehow. Obviously not being a medical person i'm not sure but it would be worth looking into maybe.

I think that some of it may be due to the topical (steroid) treatments that we may have had over the years that thin the skin.

My Derm describes my skin as being like "tissue paper". I only have to scratch myself and it comes up like a great big bruise / blood clot.

I don't think (and nor does my Derm) that there is anything that can be done about it. So perhaps I should ask my wife to cut the holly hedge in future?

But to appease the "happy clappy" brigade who seem to be infiltrating the site, I will try to apply mind over matter.

Regards,

Daryl
