I wonder if anyone has any good ideas for cleaning up, especially when you go to stay in an Hotel or someones home? I always pack a Dust Pan and Brush.  Get some funny looks from the Customs Officers!

hi there. Its embarrassing isnt it. I think if you stay in someone's home then they should be, in theory, close enough friendship wise not to worry about us flaking everywhere. Hotels...well i'm sure they have seen far worse messes than flakey skin all over the place! I basically keep a small cloth in my suitcase if i stay anywhere just to 'tidy away' any flakey bits i leave behind on surfaces....not going to take a dyson hoover on holiday....excess baggage would be a bit expensive...lol...seriously i wouldnt stress about it too much if i were you, you go away to relax and try to get away from things.

best wishes
Rosie
ps....welcome to the forum! x

I use a palm size carpet brush. It has 4 tiny wheels and 2 rotating brush to pick up the flakes.

I wouldn't worry about it, I agree with Rosie on all accounts.  It is only skin at the end of the day and you could be leaving much nastier calling cards ::)
Every day my children do something to make me proud.

after seeing 'Hotels from Hell' a few months back....i dont think we need to worry about flakey skin being left behind....people left FAR WORSE and extreme health hazards behind!!!!!!

The sticky side of Sellotape will pick up the flakes really well although obviously not very practical for a large snow storm.
