I am coming to the end of my UVB treatment but it has been prolonged due to missing a few sessions. I was up to nine minutes, I have had over 30 treatments so far and the nurse put me up to over 10 mins in one go, all my left side blistered as did my right boob.

Not very pleasant at all, when I could go back they brought me right back down and I am now on 4 mins somethink and nearly finished.

Before the blistering bout my p was clearing nicely, now it seems to have got a little peed off with the extreme treatment and is deciding to hand around for a while.

You must tell the hospital how you feel. The nurse who put me up was very apologetic and admitted she had got it wrong and they are now paying very claose attention to my skin and it's reactions.

It is taking time but I am getting better at saying no, that is not working. We always think the professinal know best, sometimes they get it very wrong.

Saying all of that my skin is still so much better than before the UVB, so good luck and I hope the painkillers become a thing of the past.
Sorry about the cat, it just won't stop

Willow

I was in my 6th week before I began having problems with UVB. Then no matter how much they reduced it I just kept on burning and normally I tolerate the UVB pretty well without any problems!!! They had to stop it for me as it was just causing too many problems for me!

Fif

How awful that they did this but at least they realised their mistake!
