peircings?

HEY not posted anything in a while, had my P under control alot from using dovobet!!
however im thinking of getting a new peircing on my face and im abit worried if some psoriasis will occur while its healing because often when I cut myself or something I get some psoriasis on it and that on my face won't be a good look

SO does anyone know if peircings can start P and if it is a good idea or not?

Why would you want to spoil a pretty face with a piercing?

my daugher has/had (its clear at the moment) on scalp, ears, hairline, she has many piercing and for her it made no difference to her p at all

I've had quite a few piercings over the years and it has never been a problem. I got my nose pierced a few weeks ago and that was fine too. But I don't tend to get psoriasis in areas where the skin has been damaged...

I wouldn't let it put you off though, but if you really do think it would start a flare up... you should ask yourself 'is it worth it?'

Hi i found that when i had my belly button pierced i got p around it but i used dovobet on it when it had healed and it went i also found this when i had tattoos and i also find that when i cut myself i get p i always wanted my nose piereced but didnt dare hope this helps

I have a lovely lip piercing, never had a prob with P
however where my ears are pierced I get P on .....but i just poke the new studs through...

I also suffer with cuts turning to P, suffer really bad with it even scratching
