Psoriasis  and joint pain

hi all after joining this site a few weeks bk,ive notice alot of u have got  Psoriasis  and joint pain. are theses conected. ive also got joint pain in  certain parts of body but never ever put it down to  Psoriasis.think i need to read up more about   Psoriasis   :-/

 also it def sounds like a chat with your derm and gp are needed
so tests/diagnoses can be made

Hi Angela,

Yes, some people do get Psoriatic Arthritis. Some of the warning signs are joint pain and stiffness which is sometimes worse in the morning or after periods of inactivity & nail changes (pitting/ridging, lifting from nail bed). Definitely worth getting checked out by your GP who may refer you to a rheumatologist.

You can also get joint pain if you skin is haveing a major flare up.
