My psoriasis developed after a stressful work year, I had IVF and my husband was deployed to Afghanistan for six months! The stress continued, as did the P, through my pregnancy. However the P really flared after my twins were born. One was in a lot of pain with silent reflux and needed 24/7 attention (not easy when he has a twin brother!).
I also exclusively breastfeed them. They are a year old now and still waking up loads at night. I only get an hour or two unbroken sleep before one wakes and haven't slept more than 4 hours in one go since they were born. We also moved overseas this year which was not relaxing with two 7 month olds!
I am wondering if when they get bigger and easier and sleep more, will my P get better at all?
I have a rubbish diet trying to eat when I get a second to myself. Little sleep and don't drink enough water. However, I have cut dairy from my diet as one twin is dairy intolerant. My BMI is about 19 as I don't get time to eat much. I don't drink or smoke ever. Sunlight seems to make my P worse.
I am going to try the vitamin D idea. Sounds good as I avoid the sun a bit now. I have also stopped eating the ton of sugary sweets, cakes and biscuits I was doing. Only on days like today when I have two ill upset clingy babes, I then don't get time to make myself anything to eat. Even fruit is tricky as it is usually sticky and the boys grab it and it goes everywhere... or try grabbing a toddler who is pulling his twins hair when your hands have kiwi fruit all
over them!

I also have large patches of P on the palms of my hands which I am worried about and changing twin nappies constantly does me no favours...
Sorry for the whinging - any advice? I don't care what I look like too much right now but I would like
my hands not to sting when I pick up my boys. Today I am using E45 and cotton gloves which feels much nicer. I am waiting for a derm appt. He wants me to be checked for staph infections so I have an ENT appt too. I am also using dovobet.
