Help on this matter please!!
I have P on my hands and feet - well about 3 weeks ago my doc said I was clear and to stop using Dovonex as my hands and feet were so red and this was a side effect of using dovonex.
Since stopping dovonex I've been moisturising lots to keep my skin from going dry. Its been nice not having to put dovonex on.
Only prob is that I've had two infections on my hands since stopping dovonex. When my P was really bad I suffered badly with infections on my hands and feet, had antibiotic tabs and then cream and it helped.
I have been using the anti biotic cream to fight the infection on my hands, but i just wandered if anyone else suffered with infections, esp on their hands?

My last infection cleared after a week of the cream but then made my skin all dry, flakey and scabby, that then took a week and abit to clear, and now I have spots of infection again. Its doing my head in so much - it seems i have a small good period of time with my skin, then the infections kick in and i'm back to bad hands.
My feet have continued to improve
, I just wish my hands would too, as i'm fed up of wearing cotton gloves and not being able to use my hands properly.
I worry lot more as time goes on as I'm getting married in May and I really want my skin to be nice for that day and the Honeymoon!!
Looks like i'll be back at the docs monday if no improvements over the weekend!! boo!!!
