Hi Marion,

If you can solve the riddle of P then you will do us all a big favour.

I can trace my family history back to 1676, with absolute certainty.

And there are only three of us that have, or have had P, and that has all been in the past 30 years. Me, my niece, and my sixth cousin (common relative born in 1723). So I am not a great advocate of the hereditary theory! Nor, smoking, drinking or diet.

Sorry for the waffle.

Regards,

Daryl

Hey all.  Newbie and a smoker here.  No psoriasis in my immediate family.  However, I lost my older brother to MS, which is an immune related condition.  (Considering the possible implications there, I'll keep my P, thank you very much.)

For a very long time, my psoriasis was mild enough that I was never even aware it was psoriasis.  This bad blowup I had this last year removed all doubt about that.  Very convincingly.  So unless something has changed to make the smoking side effects into something like an allergy, I don't see any connection myself.

Stress, now that is a different story.  Under tons of stress.  Stress bad.  Avoid stress. ;)
