Terminology

I have noticed that people refar to different kinds of P and treatments in either specific terms or shorthand terms. Can some one please tell me what they all mean, as I get confused ;D

which ones?

MTX - methotrexate
anti-TNFs - TNF = tumour necrosis factor, also biologics
PA - psoriatic arthritis
flexural p - psoriasis in the folds or creases of the skin (e.g. groin)
rheumy - rheumatologist
dermy - dermatologist

can't think of any more just now...

Here's more .......

Cyclo or ciclo = cyclosporin
FAE's = Fumeric Acid Esters
Biologics = Enbrel, Raptiva, Humira, Stelara ~ last line in drug treatments

PP = plaque psoriasis but most just use 'p'
PPP = palmoplanter pustular psoriasis
guttate = guttate psoriasis

BP = blood pressure
LFT test = Liver function test
ALT levels = enzymes in liver


... their might be more  ???
