The funniest thing ever said about p

I had such a good laugh this morning:

I was brave and faced the world with a T-shirt (*applauding to myself* ).... and one of my floormates stoped by and asked if it was a tatoo I had on my arm

LOL - I guess that really was the funniest comment I ever heard about my p

I presume she needs glasses (or was not wearing them) and she is righ, one sport is exactly in the place where usually people have their tatoos.
I guess I should have said - yes that's a tatoo of my closest personal friend .... and fiend ... the big p

But you never think of these things, do you

What was the funniest thing you ever heard about your p?
And could you laugh or was it too hurtful?
(I feel sometimes p- issues are very complicated: they can be funny, but on the same time hurt - luckily this one was okay, but so often people say hurtful things without meaning it .... and then you never know how you'll react).

I have just been in a meeting and sat next to a colleague who looked like a hoard of mossies had a hearty banquet on his legs.

Another  guy arrived late and tried to squeeze in next to him and suddenly recoiled in horror saying "have you got chicken pox!"

I sat their smirking in my long sleeved-top and combats! Nice for the attention to be on someone else's skin for a change!

I've also had the "Oh, Cirrhosis - thats the liver isn't it?"  accompanied with a knowing look as if to say "yes, your a raging alcoholic aren't you?"

Hi lol,

One of the funniest things that happened to me was when i worked in a chinese restaurant and the owner came up to me and started counting the spots on my face one two flee fo fia... it was histerical because he was so serious and trying to help me and i collapsed in stitches,although he didn't really get the joke it's just as well i did eh.

Was on holiday in a tropical paradise, courtesy of my daughter, when someone came up to me and said, 'God, those sand-flies have really taken a liking to you!'  Considering that about 1/4 of my body was covered at that time (but I thought 'turf it, I don't know anyone here') the sandflies would hace had to be the size of fruit bats!  

Unfortunately the hot weather and sun made no difference.  Maybe being stared at cancelled out any good effects.

I have to say... I have lied about P on my legs.. and blamed it on mossies when the scars were going black after tanning.

The person didn't speak much English.. so when they motioned making nipping and buzzing actions.. I just nodded.

Well... where the hell would you start with explaining.

i was having my picture drawn once about 10 years ago in spain or somewhere one of them characture ones and he drew my huge head and was adding me body on when he pointed to me leg and said you want me to draw those on???  I politely declined.....

I've had the normal chicken pox questions and I hope that isn't catching!!!

I also got told by a doctor (when I went to see a locum about an ear infection!) " do you know you have scabies?"  To with I replied, no its P, I have had it for years.

He then told me I was wrong and I had scabies, and was disgusted at me for never getting treatment for it!  It took 20 minutes of me trying to tell him it was all in my notes and that it was P, for him not to listen.

I walked away with nothing for my ear infection, and treatment for scabies!  Luckily I saw the funny side!

I got bitten by something a couple of weeks ago, I think it must have been something that floated in from the farm next door, anyway it swelled up to a circle about 3cm across within about a minute - and now I've got a perfect circular patch of P where it bit me!
