I'm 6'4" and 20 st so you're not the only one mate! I have started a weight loss programme now, aiming to lose 4 or 5 stone this year. It's really bothering me now so I'm hoping the 'feel good' factor, giving me more confidence, and the fact that my diet is going to be much healthier may have a beneficial effect on the p. Years ago, my derm insisted that weight was important and he would weigh me every time I saw him! He was also fond of the 'Belsen' story as proof of his theory.

Good luck poncho...

it's amazing really the feeling you get when you start to lose it just gives you the motivation to keep on going!

My best tip - don't deprive yourself of yoru faves - i still had quite a bit of booze and went out for meals.  My key was exercise but i guess everyone is different.

I'm 6 months into my plan and going well so far.  had a major lull over the xmas period but getting back into it slowly - still got a few xmas choccies to get through!  :D

I don't think that it is the weight, but worrying about being overweight might be the cause as I think that stress can trigger p. Whenever I have something that I am really worrying about or if I am on overload at work the P seems to be worse.
