Hi again Mickey, hope you have success this time taking the turmeric.
The tablets that I have are 10,000mg high potency and it reads on the label to take one or more a day so I am taking just the one.
There is no difference at the moment but my p is VERY severe this time, honestly it hasn't been this widespread since I was a child, and itch!?!? I look like a dog with fleas! haha.
Have just started using nivea moisturiser to try and ease the tight, dry feeling a little.
Take care Mickey
Kindest Regards Sandi ;)

Hia,

Have become a regular junky since I started reading the info on this website.
I found the info on Turmeric (Curcumin) very interesting.

I had a flare up of P earlier on in the year and on September the 5th I started treatment with Zorac.
At first my skin was very red from the retinoid, I saw a small improvemet after about 6 weeks but my skin was still very red and sore looking.

Then about two weeks ago I started taking 3 tabs a day of
Lamberts high potency Turmeric, each tab containing 500mg of curcumin and one tab every other day of the Seven Seas Glucosamine Sulphate and Chondroitin and continued with one tab of my regular Centrum Multi Vitamin.
My skin has paled considerably in the last week since taking the curcumin.

I will keep you informed with my progress and wish you good luck.

Can I take plain tumeric powder instead of the tablets?  I really don't mind the taste of it... and I can swallow it with water... or is it better to take the tablets?

Hi Sandy,

Just taking 400 mg.

At holland and barratt this week it is half price.

By GoodnNatural 100 tablets.

As stated did not have great success except for my bott, but that alone is well worth the expense ;)

Hope it is OK for you,

Regards,

Mickey

I asked in Holland and Barrat about Curcumin/Tumeric tablets and they didn't have a clue what I was on about... can you give me the exact product details so I can go and ask them again please - any if anyone else has the details...

Hi hsah,

Yes my Holland and Barrat sold these GoodnNatural tumeric tablets 400mg.

Maybe they have discontinued them at your store?

I actaully have used tumeric from tescos in the powder form and sprinkle it on my curries sometimes. It is much cheaper like this. I may try and find a better powder from maybe from an Indian shop.

Regards,

Mickey
