ТЕА laureth sulfate
« on: October 09, 2008, 06:01:01 PM »
Hi guys! I couldn't find any topic with these keywords, so can I ask you is ТЕА laureth sulfate as not good as SLS?
I used Freederm Coal Tar shampoo once in a while and it is good for me, but as people suggests - it is better to avoid SLS containing products, so I was disappointed a bit.

Thanks a lot,
Eugene

Hi Eugene

TEA Laureth Sulphate is a mild cleansing agent and is better than Sodium Laureth Sulphate but is still a man made chemical !

Try going for totally organic or natural products only like this which is a good example. Note the natural ingredients :- You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Hope that points you in the right direction. Try Google 'SLS Free products' if you are having difficulty in the Ukraine.

Nick

Today I was in a big drugstore looking for the SLS free shampoos and was conferring with a worker of this shop. She advice me with super SLS FREE shampoo called "Phyto Phytoprogenium Daily Shampoo". She showed me translated to Russian composition on the pocket - no SLS indeed. I payed about 30 buks and was very happy eventually I found it. Came back home and as usual searched the product to read about and what I found: "ingredients: Althaes Officinalis Root Extract, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Lauryl Glucoside, etc, etc". I was very angry, sit in a car and went back to the store. The consultant said me that I'm wrong and these SLS are NATURAL MADE. Nick, folks, can it really be the SLS are natural made? I'm very suspicious on her assert about that...

Anyway, I claimed for my money back, will try another store tomorrow :) Have a nice evening :)

I only get bathroom products marked as 100% organic or 100% natural, at least then you shouldn't even need to read the label. And I using Ecover range for cleaning and washing clothes.
