one of my friends worked in the Med for about a year and as soon as she came back to the UK she got P for the first time.  Might be something to do with the climate change, but then like Longboarder said it may just be a coincidence!

i think thay p has got more to do with stress than anything else.i was living in uk for 25 yrs, then decided to go to mauritius .i was under a lot of stress overthere  and after a couple of years there got my first patch on my leg.i have been living there for 7 yrs now and the p has spread.it is quite hot here most of the year.in my case i know it has been trigerred by emotional stress then maybe exacerbated by other factors like diet, cold weather.

On visiting the dead sea 3 times in the past 2 years, i have spoken to people from europe (Hungary) who moved there a number of years ago and thier psoriasis still came back after a couple of years, due to their immune system getting used to the uv rays.

A trip to the dead sea needs to be a 'shock' to the skin and system in order to get rid of the psoriasis.
