Ohh wow!!! that is VERY sore!!!  :o You must be so uncomfortable!
have you tried sudocream? E45? tea tree based creams? or aveeno?
I used to have it under my bust and now it is clear, i do not know if it via my diet, or the creams I have been slapping on or my vitamins......probably a mixture of them all, but it is bloody sore when your bra rubs on it eh??

Have you tried Trimovate or are you keeping away from steroids?

Trimovate is brilliant, I dont mind using steriods but what I think flared it this time was changing my washing powder to ordinary and not non bio so ill go back to non bio again.

Underwire bras are uncomfortable and the p gets worse there in the Summer Months. Im going to start the trimovate again as its got this bad now.

I have never thought my washing powder could cause my skin to flare, we just use the Bold liquid and if i am on a good diet, and taking my supplements my skin is more or less clear so I guess that is why I never thought that washing powders etc could make my skin worse.
I am surprised it has had that effect though!!! I hope it will clear up soon, maybe after you have cleared it with the trimovate you might want to continue using a special cream under the bust all the time such as the ones I listed before to keep it at bay, as most people tend to think once it is cleared they do not need to take extra care anymore, but prevention is better then cure ...yes? ;)

Heidi,

to be honest, im a bit lazy when it comes to the creams but im going to put the trimovate on it today and when it clears try and keep it away.  I will give the e45 a go and the sudocream, will they help keep the p from returning or wonder if I will still need the trimovate from time to time.

It is hard to say because it is all about trial and error, but it will certainly help, and when it comes to psoriasis we cannot be lazy because it just leads to more problems, I find it a bane moisturising but i know I have to otherwise it just all gets out of control, I make a conscious effort to moisturise twice, sometimes three times a day.

i feel for you mary, that looks so sore, and in such an uncomfortable place, get something on it as soon as possible and and have a bit of time with no bra on (if that is possible)

hope it gets better soon

Mary,

that looks sore. I'm lucky not to have suffered there.

Hope it eases soon.

Hi, Mary
Yes, that certainly looks sore. Mine used to be like that so I really do sympathise.  It's always worse when it's hot too, isn't it. I found that Sudocream helped and I used to put a cotton handkerchief under the bottom of my bra which felt soothing and a bit cooler.
